The prairie, the Sand Dunes and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
The Sand Dunes are located at one edge of Saint Louis Valley and at a corner of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains range.
Several tourists like these enjoy to come to the Sand Dunes to pollute and contaminate the environment...
... and sometimes, we see familiar faces among them ...
... adults as well as children ...
Young and old polluters, ... and even dogs, adventure these isolated areas.
Among the polluters are some who like to cook for others and use the help of veterans.
This "cook" is a real kook, he had the "brilliant" idea to feed more than FIFTY people ... and in addition, he expected to have some fun (???)
"Kooks" come in pairs, and this one looks like she just assaulted a chicken farm.
Some of the tourists around decided to help the "Kooks"...
... and even contributed with some fruit ...
You can say these people are working ...? WRONNNGG ! ! They are just posing for pictures.
The little ones were the victims of the adults' adventure and they suffered very much...
... so, some decided to leave the camp on their bikes ...
... and others started to jump like horses ...
Then came the worse ...
... some decided to go to the river and take a boat ... but the river was too shallow ... and there were no boats ... !!!
... so they sat, and sat, ...
...and and sat, and sat ... and they got sooo booored ...
But then, others decided to leave across the dunes ...
... but the weather became treacherous ...
At the beging, they thought they could make it ...
... and they even possed for pictures ...
... but soon they realized they were lost in the middle of the dunes ...
... so some decided to fly ...
... and fly ...
... but others in their despair, started to eat sand ...
... and their fear became worse when the storm approached ...
... but the irresponsable adults were also there ...
... and they did not care that some of the little ones got trapped in the sand ...
... their hypocritical smile was very revealing ...
... they really enjoyed watching the kids suffering ...
... but some of the kids managed to hide.
At the end, both adults and children were beaten by the storm ...
... and the fury of nature was so strong that they disappeared and no one survived ...
... and they were buried in the dunes ...
... and the water washed away their remains.
Many years later some people saw the mirage of children playing by the shallow river ...
... and suddenly they turned into clouds ...
... and even the one who took these pictures ...
... disappeared with the sunset light.
The sand blown by the wind from the valley gets trapped in the corner of this big "patio".
... but they were just the souls of the missing ones years ago ...
The End
